Genuinely safe AI for teachers
The problem
UK primary teachers spend their evenings producing reading passages, comprehension questions and reports. General-purpose AI tools can draft those in seconds, but they were never built for a classroom: no curriculum alignment, no safeguarding, and no way for a school to trust what comes out.
What we built
TandemTeach is an AI assistant built safety-first for teachers of Years 1 to 6. It is not one model but an orchestration of multiple AI providers with eight built-in safety layers, far more than government guidance requires, running on every single generation.
We built the platform on a Laravel backend with a WordPress marketing front end, with accessibility, GDPR and child safety designed in from the start rather than bolted on.
Eight checks on every generation
Every request passes through layered safety nets before a teacher sees a word: provider-level moderation, our own classifiers, curriculum constraints and output checks. If any layer objects, the content never reaches the classroom. Teachers get their evenings back; safeguarding leads get peace of mind.
